Our Story

Purchased by Matt and Lisa Carstensen in July 2024, Rise & Grind Bakery and Kitchen began as a much-needed kitchen expansion to support the 200+ daily “Dinner Date” meals being served. What started as a practical upgrade quickly blossomed into a vibrant coffee house, bakery, and eatery destination loved by locals and visitors alike.

In recent months, Matt has begun hosting unique evening dining experiences, featuring gourmet specialty burgers, hearty homestyle sides, and decadent, handcrafted desserts.

With a passion for food and community, Matt and Lisa Carstensen are excited about the future and all the delicious possibilities it holds.
